How does the Venus Legacy treatment work?

Using multi-polar radio frequency in addition to pulsed electro-magnetic fields, the Venus Legacy works to deliver heat deep under the surface of the skin. This helps to naturally increase collagen production and elastin fibers while shrinking the volume of existing fat cells. As this occurs, adjustable pulsed suction works to gently pull the skin upward, allowing the energy to travel deeper into the skin, resulting in a comfortable but effective treatment. 

What can I expect from my Venus Legacy treatment? 

After a thorough examination and consultation with one of our body contouring specialists, you will receive a customized treatment plan focused on achieving your desired results. During your scheduled treatment sessions, the levels of heat and suction are adjusted to suit your individual needs and comfort levels. The heat is delivered through an applicator that glides along the treatment area to apply heat and gently suction the fat with a sensation similar to a gentle power vacuum. 

What does the treatment feel like?

The applicator will slowly get warmer until your skin reaches the needed temperature, and it stays at that temperature throughout the treatment. The therapist will adjust the heating to your comfort level whenever required.

What will I feel after the treatment?

You will likely feel relaxed. The treatment is comfortable and some guests have even fallen asleep during the therapy. The area may feel warm to the touch but other than that you will feel perfect normal.

How many Venus Legacy treatments will I need?

Typically, six to eight treatments are required for each treatment area, administered once a week. The exact number of treatments depends on the individual and the existing conditions of the area being treated. 

What downtime is required with the Venus Legacy treatments?

There is no downtime required. You may return to your daily activities immediately after your sessions. 

What are the side effects of the Venus Legacy treatment?

The treatment area may appear flushed and warm to the touch but will resolve within one to two hours. There have been no reports of any serious side effects.

When will I see results from my Venus Legacy treatment? 

It is important to keep in mind that results vary depending on the individual and the existing conditions of the area being treated. Most guests who receive a series of six to eight treatments per area typically see results after the third session. Many have noted results even sooner.

How long will the results last?

Venus Legacy has reported that, after a full series, results typically last for eighteen months. Results increase after each consecutive treatment. After your final treatment, your results can continue to improve for three to four months depending on your individual conditions. After that, single maintenance treatments are recommended once a month.
